Apprentice Plumber Job Description

Master Pools Alberta is an Edmonton-based constructor of Commercial and Municipal Aquatic Facilities throughout Western Canada. With 45 years of experience we are the pre-eminent aquatic contractor in Western Canada. We are currently hiring 2nd – 4th-year plumbing apprentices for projects for 12-16-month projects in Southern and North-Central Alberta. These involve the construction of large-diameter PVC piping systems, and associated filtration, heating, and chemical treatment equipment. The opportunity to specialize in pool tank system construction is also available.
Previous aquatics-specific experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will possess PVC plumbing experience, and demonstrate excellent mechanical room layout ability and workmanship, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work and travel as part of a crew, and act professionally in a commercial job-site setting, is also necessary. Both on the job training, and formal training in equipment and pool chemistry/operation methodology will be provided as needed.
We offer a salary is $22.00-$30.00 / hour to start based on experience and qualifications, as well as Health benefits, overtime, travel LOA, accommodations, and performance bonus.
